    Host2Media operates two independent datacenter nodes in the Amsterdam metro area — one in Haarlem and one at Schiphol-Rijk. This dual-node footprint enables true intra-city redundancy, allowing workloads to failover within the Netherlands without leaving the AMS-IX peering ecosystem.

    Each Host2Media border router maintains active sessions with multiple Tier-1 transit carriers simultaneously. Traffic is distributed across providers using BGP policies tuned for latency and cost efficiency, with automatic failover if any upstream path becomes degraded.

    Internet Exchange Peering

    Our Amsterdam and Frankfurt nodes establish direct peering sessions at AMS-IX and DE-CIX respectively — two of the world's highest-traffic internet exchanges. Peering bypasses transit hops, reducing round-trip latency and eliminating per-byte transit costs for exchanged traffic.
